Adam Schefter is reporting that the Rams have saved their franchise and will not be signing Terrell Owens. Naturally, the Bengals have stepped up and it now appears T.O. will be moving to the 513.
Nothing about this move makes any sense. Owens will fight for looks with OchoCinco, Antonio Bryant, Andre Caldwell, skiing enthusiast Matt Jones, and rookie Jordan Shipley. However, T.O. has been working out with Carson Palmer in Cali this summer and Coach Marvin Lewis has heard nothing but good things.
"Carson was really impressed with a lot of the things that Terrell was doing," Lewis said. "Carson's comments to me -- I guess the word is they resonate well."
I had to read that last quote a few times, but I am now sure that "they resonate well" is more than one word. Better luck in the next interview, Marv.
Anywho, while improving grammar should be a top priority for most of the franchise and their fans (who dey?) this off-season, lets be serious, proper grammar and sentence structure is a fool's game.
The team's training camp opens this Thursday...will we see T.O. in the orange and black?....will training camp air on VH1?...will someone ever take a picture with more swagger?
